Hidden away in one of the residential areas of Mullumbimby, this playground has some fun features. Mamma hasn't seen any Hills Hoist inspired playground equipment before, so finding one here was definitely a surprise ... and Little Mister 4 insisted he have a go (for a few seconds at least). The netted tunnel is also a nice touch, instead of having a normal bridge - Little Mister enjoyed poking his head up through it. The net pyramid was definitely something to be conquered as it only took a fellow young climber to encourage Little Mister to go up to the top, and then you just couldn't stop him doing it again and again and again!
This playground also has a flying fox, swings, slide, animal rockers, find-a-word, pretend shop and a climbing wall for bigger kids. There are 3 different netted sections: the pyramid, the tunnel, and a ropeway to get up to the slide. It is a well thought out playground.
This is a fully fenced neighbourhood playground with a bike path running past which will lead you on a different adventure. If there is still energy to burn after playing here, you can always go for a walk/scoot/bike ride along the path before coming back to the playground.
Mamma's special mention: this is purely a residential area ... no toilets, no cafes. If you don't live nearby you will need about 5 mins to get back into town to a public toilet. Try Empire Cafe, Pink Lotus or Diner 55 to fill those hungry bellies!
